Job Description

We are currently seeking a few full-time Product Owners/Managers with at least 2 years of experience in product management. The primary responsibilities include defining and communicating product visions and strategies, developing product roadmaps, and managing the product lifecycle to align with our business goals.

The Product Owner/Manager will be instrumental in collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, managing expectations, and maintaining clear and effective communication across teams. This role demands a balance of leadership and technical proficiency, ensuring that all aspects of the product development process are aligned with the company’s objectives.

We are looking for self-managed professionals who can work independently without constant supervision, and who possess a strong ability to think strategically about technology, products, and market needs and is a self-managed professionals who can work without constant supervision.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy to align with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines short-term and long-term goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure their needs are addressed.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and keep them informed about product progress and decisions.
  • Create, refine, prioritize, and manage the product backlog to ensure it reflects the product vision and goals.
  • Ensure that user stories are well-defined, clear, and actionable for the development team.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Scrum team, facilitating Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives)
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager
  • Extensive experience working with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and lifecycle
  • Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with engineering teams
  • Familiarity with tools used in product management such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or similar
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Technical Qualifications for this position include

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • OR 3+ years of experience in the field and have a High School degree or an equivalent.
